Alejandro Moiraghi, an Argentinian artist based in Buenos Aires, will be doing his first solo exhibition in South Africa at the Worldart gallery in Cape Town from 4 to 18 April. Moiraghi’s paintings and sculptures present a unique and humorous view of the urban landscape and the dreams and realities of those who populate it. His visual language features expressive cartoon-like figures often in ridiculous situations and makes one smile while simultaneously addressing more serious issues related to the human condition.
The exhibition will take place from 4 – 18 April 2010
