The Legal Resources Centre is currently hosting an on-line auction to celebrate its 30th anniversary. The auction consists of original art work by William Kentridge, Avhashoni Mainganye, Sheila Flynn, Benny Gool and many more South African artists as well as books autographed by Nelson Mandela, George Bizos, Pregs Govender and others.
To view the items on auction:
1. Enter site on www.bidorbuy.co.za
2. On your left side of the screen, click “Events and Charities”
3. Then look for any “LRC Auction” items.
4. By clicking on one of the items, you can click on “View all the seller’s items” found at the right side of the screen.
5. Here you will find all the items that are being auctioned by the LRC
All the artwork will also be on exhibition open to the public at the Goethe-Institut, Johannesburg in 119 Jan Smuts Avenue, Parkwood during the Week of 12th of August 2008.
