The much anticipated sale of the slain Brett Kebble’s art collection went on auction at Summer place Johannesburg last night. The turn out was impressive and whilst some prominent pieces did not make there reserve some others found record amounts. The unofficial tally for the sale is just under the R50 million mark with interest expressed in some of the unsold lots. This is a South African record for a single auction.
